In My Fathers House

In My Fathers House

Some of the most beautiful buildings on earth are Church buildings. There are buildings of many different designs and colors.

It is a pleasure to visit different towns and cities and see the church buildings they have.

We often refer to the church building as being the House of God. ( We should be careful to say the building where the church meets to worship.) Some in Israel had made a big mistake bragging on the beauty of the Temple. The disciples in Matthew 24:1-2 made mention as to the beauty of the buildings of the Temple which cost 10 Billion 720  million dollars to build in those days. It had walls of gold and Cedar beams along with many other costly things, However Jesus said not one of the stones would  be left unturned.

In A. D. 70 the Romans burned the building and turned every stone over taking the Gold that had melted in the fire as the temple burned.

I would like to share with you about the Fathers house John 14:2 where you and I will one  day dwell.

In my forty plus years of preaching I have been ask many questions as to where does my love one's go when they die?

In My Fathers House with Jesus is an answer I have given to my friends and family as to where our loved ones go when they leave this world by death.

This is not a new question that people ask today but from early times the question has been  ask and the answer has always been found in the Bible, God's Holy Word.

Our Lord Jesus told us in John 14:1-6 not to let our hearts be troubled, He said, in my Fathers house are many mansions, if were not so I would of told you so. He then said , I go to prepare a place for you and if I go I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am you may be also. This is a blessed promise that Christians have believed, trusted and found comfort in for many years. There are some Scriptures that I would like to share with you regarding this  subject.

Jesus said I am the Way, The Truth and the Life and no man comes to the     Father  but  by Me. John 14:6.

His death, burial and resurrection is the key to the entry into the kingdom.

The Scriptures as to the entry into the Fathers House  are  very clear. The teachings on the death, burial  and resurrection of our loved ones is found in 1st Corinthians 15:1-26 Please read Psalms 23:1-6 …… I shall dwell in the House of the Lord forever. John 5:28-29 there are two resurrections. One for those who have accepted our Lord Jesus as Lord and Savior and one for the ones who have failed to accept the Lord Jesus as their only means of eternal life

Final victory over death; 1st Corinthians 15: 54. O death where is thy sting, O grave  where is thy victory.

You may be thinking, But I have sinned and don't know that I have eternal life and victory over death. Friend I have good news for you. Jesus died for my sins and yours. There is forgiveness for your sins and you can be prepared to leave this world when He comes or calls.

By simply asking Jesus to come into your heart and forgive you of your sin. You can know you are ready and you can know that in your Fathers house you have an eternal home waiting for you when the time comes to go. Remember; whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 3:23
