His Soon Return

Mt 24:1-8

I was awakened one night by a large crack of thunder. As I lay there fully awake a thought came to mind that the Lord will return this fast and as sudden.

His return will be sudden. Mt. 24:27, As the lightning comes out of the east and shines even unto the west so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

His return will be when you least expect it. Mt. 24:40-41, Then shall two be in the field, one shall be taken and the other left. Two women shall be grinding. The one shall be taken and the other left.

A fulfillment of prophecy. Is .9:6, His first coming is told, For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given.

We have all been warned. All throughout the Bible are many passages that tell us of his return. There are 318 different scriptures that tell us in the New Testament about his second coming.

Be ready. Mt. 24:44, Therefore be ye ready for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man  comes.

He is first coming for His church. 1 Thessalonians .4:13-18 tells us, For I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them that are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others that have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say  unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, and so shall we ever be with the lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

All believers will not die.  1 Corinthians .15:51-53 tells us: Behold I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump; for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Let no man deceive you. ...for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. (destruction) This man of sin shall deceive many. 2nd Thessalonians. .2:3-5

The real Lamb is coming. Rev. 19;9, And he said unto me, Write, Blessed are they that are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. Verse 11 says, And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
