Statement of Faith

The Faith Baptist Chapel is a Southern Baptist work associated with the Kentucky Baptist Convention. We hold to the teachings that Baptist have taught down through the years that Jesus Christ is The only Begotten Son of God, His Virgin birth, His death, burial, resurrection, ascension and coming again.

1-The Bible is the inspired written infallible Word of God and is the rule and guide of our faith.

2- We believe the 18 Articles of Faith are a good foundation to build on. Each member should have a copy to study. There is a copy posted on the Ky. Baptist Web site.

3- Eternal security of the true believer John 10:28

4- Water baptism by immersion after your salvation experience of being born again of The Spirit of God.

5- The Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to be saved John 14:6

6- There are three ways to join a Baptist church;

1- Baptism 2- Letter from another sister Church of like faith and order 3- Statement, stating you have been baptized into another sister Baptist Church that is no longer in existence or the records are lost.

7-We respect the rights of all others and do not try to recruit their members and we feel it is wrong to join our churches if you do not believe or not willing to be taught the doctrines we teach which is all New Testament teaching.
