WHO IS JESUS CHRIST?

Matthew 16: 13-18

When Jesus ask his disciples who do men say that the Son of man is ? They told him that some thought he was John the Baptist, some said he was Elias  "Elijah" others said Jeremiah or one of the prophets. Many people have their own opinion as to who Jesus is. It is the same today as to who people are and who some think a person is. You can ask a dozen people who someone is and you get a dozen different answers.

If you know a person from personal experience you can give a first hand experience as to the person and what that person really is.

In answering the question who is Jesus, we need to ask some people who have had a personal experience with him.

Ask a man who had a withered hand who Jesus is and see what he would say about Jesus.

Matthew 12:13 Jesus told him to stretch forth his hand, and it was made whole like his other hand.

Here was a man crippled and Jesus restored his hand for him. I'm sure the man can easily tell you who Jesus is.

Ask a woman who had been sick for twelve years. She had spent all the money she had on the Doctors but her health was no better.

Luke 8:43 tells us she came behind Jesus and touched the hem of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.

Let this lady tell you who Jesus is and I'm sure she can tell you, he did something for me that no one else could do

Ask a blind man called Bartimaeus in Mark 10:46 who had to sit by the road side and beg for a living.

He heard that Jesus was coming and he begin to cry out, Jesus thy Son of David  have mercy on me. Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. And they called the blind man saying unto him, be of good comfort, arise: he calls for you. And he casting away his garment, rose and went to Jesus.

Jesus ask him a simple question: What wilt thy that I should do unto thee. ( Simply saying, What do you want me to do for you? )

The blind man requested that he might receive his sigh. Jesus said unto him, go thy way, thy faith has made thee whole. Immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus.

Ask a person today that has been born again by His Holy Spirit who Jesus is and you will hear them say loud and clear: He is the only begotten Son of God, He is my Lord and Savior, He is my soon coming King.

If you are not sure who Jesus is, you can know him in a personal experience by inviting him to come into your heart.

Romans 10:13 tells us; Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. You can know Christ as you personal savior today and you can also know when your time comes to leave this life you will have a home in His Kingdom waiting for you.

Pray a prayer somewhat like this; Dear Lord Jesus, I want to personally know you as my Lord and savior, come into my heart and forgive me of all my sins.

I am trusting you to save me and keep me.

From this day forward  I will love and live my life for you. I pray this prayer in Jesus name. Amen.
